The difference in my workout today and my workout on Monday was mostly in how I handled the swings. Today I set a timer to beep every 15 seconds. I picked up a 24 kg kettlebell and performed two-handed swings for 10 minutes – alternating 15 seconds of swinging and 15 seconds of mopping up the sweat with a towel and drinking water. Then I picked up a 16 kg kettlebell and performed one-handed swings for 10 minutes – alternating 15 seconds of work and rest. I completed 160 two-handed swings and and 160 one-handed swings. That means I swang 14,080 pounds in this portion of my workout. No wonder when I tried to do my standard set of three 100-yard sprints up the hill in front of my house, I could not achieve more than a quick jog! I’m going to do this again!
